Vincent Fortunato
Vincent Fortunato is the founder and President of Fortunato Construction Group. Vince establishes corporate policy and cultivates the corporate culture focused on service and integrity. His education and experience include a BA from Fairfield University, a BS in Engineering from UCONN, an MBA from University of Hartford and more than thirty five years of responsible management in the construction industry. Vince is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Connecticut, a licensed construction supervisor in Massachusetts, and is a trained neutral with the American Arbitration Association, where he adjudicates large complex cases. He provides consulting services to many clients and has served as an expert witness in several construction-related legal matters. Vince has published technical articles in trade journals, has taught various seminars in Construction, and has served on boards for industry associations and charitable organizations.
Prior to establishing Fortunato Construction Group, Vince was the CEO of a construction company affiliated with a large commercial development organization. In that capacity, he managed an organization that was involved in the development of shopping centers, hotels, office buildings and multifamily projects. In his position there, he had full responsibility for overseeing design, budgeting, securing the right to build, project construction and tenant improvements.
Since 1989 Fortunato Construction Group has grown under the direction of Vince into the company it is today. He is fully involved in the day to day operations of the company, striking a balance between close monitoring and empowering the team to serve clients well.
